Generating Logo Concepts
This page covers the full process of generating logo concepts — from writing your first prompt to reviewing the results.
Before You Start
BrandForge uses your Brand Strategy as context when generating logos. If you haven't completed your Brand Strategy yet, the Logo Generator will still work, but results will be more generic.
For best results:
- Complete Brand Strategy first
- Make sure your color palette reflects your brand — it influences the logo color direction
Step 1 — Open the Logo Generator
Go to Brand Building → Logo Generator from the sidebar.
The module opens with the AI Copilot on the left. If you've completed your Brand Strategy, you'll see a pre-filled starting prompt based on your brand archetype and identity.
Step 2 — Choose How Many Concepts
Select the number of logo concepts you want generated:
- 1 — Fastest, lowest credit cost. Good if you have a very specific idea
- 4 — Best balance of speed and variety. Recommended for most brands
- 6 — Maximum creative range. Good for exploration or when you're unsure of direction
Step 3 — Describe Your Logo
Type your visual brief in the Copilot. Include:
- Brand name — How it should appear in the logo (full name, initials, icon only)
- Visual style — Wordmark, lettermark, icon mark, combination mark, mascot
- Aesthetic — Minimal, bold, vintage, geometric, illustrative, etc.
- Specific elements — Icon ideas, symbols, shapes to incorporate
- Color direction — Reference your palette or describe a feeling
Alternatively, select a quick concept description from the Copilot's suggestions.
Logo style guide

| Mascot | Character or illustrated figure | Kids, consumer, friendly brands |
Step 4 — Generate
Click Generate (or press Enter in the Copilot). The AI generates your concepts — usually within 5–15 seconds depending on complexity and quantity.
Step 5 — Review Results
Your concepts appear in the right panel. Each card shows:
- The rendered logo at full size
- A concept label (e.g. bold concept)
- The Edit button
Review all concepts before choosing. Look at:
- How the name reads at small sizes
- Whether the icon (if any) is distinct and scalable
- Whether the colors align with your brand palette
Step 6 — Refine or Edit
To generate more options: Continue chatting in the Copilot with refinement instructions, or click Regenerate to get fresh concepts.
To edit a concept: Click Edit on a concept card to open the Logo Editor.
Professional logo designers typically present 3–6 concepts, then refine over 2–3 rounds. Don't feel pressured to commit to your first generation — use the Copilot to iterate.
