General Settings
Settings → Workspace → General contains the basic configuration for your brand and workspace preferences. These settings are used by AI modules across BrandForge to personalize generated content.
Accessing General Settings
Go to Settings → Workspace → General from the sidebar.
Brand Information
Brand Name
The primary name of your brand as it appears throughout BrandForge and in AI-generated content.
- Used in generated website copy, social posts, and collateral
- Shown in the workspace switcher and the top of the sidebar
- Changing this updates the name used by AI modules going forward — previously generated content is not retroactively updated
Brand Description
A short (1–3 sentence) description of your brand. This is passed as context to all AI modules.
A good brand description includes:
- What you do or sell
- Who your customers are
- What makes you different
Example:
Luminary Coffee is a premium specialty coffee brand sourcing single-origin beans directly from farmers in Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Colombia. We serve urban coffee enthusiasts who care about craft, sustainability, and ritual.
Industry
Select the industry that best describes your brand. Industry context improves the relevance of AI-generated suggestions across all modules.
Available options include: Food & Beverage, SaaS / Software, Fashion, Retail, Health & Wellness, Creative / Agency, Hospitality, Education, Finance, Real Estate, and more.
Workspace Preferences
Default Language
The language used for AI-generated content across all modules.

Changing the default language affects new AI generations — it does not translate existing content.
Timezone
Your workspace timezone is used for:
- Scheduling social media posts (displayed times)
- Billing renewal notifications
- Activity feed timestamps
Select from standard timezone options (UTC, ET, CT, PT, GMT, CET, JST, SGT, and others).
Saving Changes
Click Save changes after updating any field. Changes take effect immediately.
