Connecting a Custom Domain
Step 1 — Register your domain
If you haven't registered a domain yet, do it through Name & Domain. Registered domains are automatically available in Managed Hosting.
If your domain is registered elsewhere (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, TransIP), you can still connect it — see Connecting an external domain below.
Step 2 — Open Managed Hosting
Go to Digital Presence → Managed Hosting from the sidebar.
Step 3 — Connect your domain
- Click Connect domain
- Select your registered domain from the dropdown, or enter an external domain manually
- Click Connect
Step 4 — DNS propagation
If you're connecting a domain registered through BrandForge, DNS is configured automatically. Your site is typically live within minutes.
For external domains, you'll need to update your DNS records manually (see below).
Connecting an External Domain
If your domain is registered with another provider:
- Log in to your domain registrar's control panel
- Find the DNS settings for your domain
- Add the following records:

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate globally, though it's typically much faster (minutes to a few hours).
Verifying the connection
Once DNS is configured, go back to Managed Hosting in BrandForge and click Verify DNS. BrandForge will check if the records are correct. When verified, your domain status changes to Connected.

Publishing Your Site
Once your domain is connected, publish your site from the Website Builder by clicking Publish in the editor header.
The Dashboard shows:

System Status
BrandForge's infrastructure status is shown in the sidebar footer: "All systems operational" (green dot). For real-time status, visit status.brandforge.software.
Deployment alerts can be enabled in Settings → Account → Notifications.
