Domain Registration

BrandForge lets you register domain names directly from the Name & Domain module. Registered domains are linked to your workspace and can be connected to your website in Managed Hosting.

Registering a Domain​

  1. Find the name and domain you want in the Name Generator
  2. Click on a domain option marked Free or showing a price
  3. Complete the registration checkout — payment is processed securely
  4. Your domain is active within minutes and visible in Settings → Workspace → Domains

Domain Pricing​

Prices shown in the Name Generator are annual registration fees. Common pricing:

Renewal pricing may differ from registration pricing. BrandForge will notify you before your domain renews.

Domain Status​

Once registered, your domain appears in Settings → Workspace → Domains with:

  • Domain name
  • Registration date
  • Renewal date
  • Status (Active / Expiring soon / Expired)

The Dashboard also shows a Domain status widget with a renewal reminder.

Connecting to Your Website​

After registering a domain, connect it to your live website:

  1. Go to Digital Presence → Managed Hosting
  2. Click Connect domain
  3. Select your registered domain from the dropdown
  4. DNS propagation takes 0–48 hours (usually minutes)

Searching an Existing Name​

If you already have a brand name in mind and want to check domain availability:

  1. Click Search specific domain in the Copilot panel
  2. Type the domain name (e.g. luminarycoffee.com)
  3. BrandForge checks availability across multiple TLDs instantly
  4. Available options appear with pricing

Managing Domains​

All domain management (renewal, DNS settings, transfers) is available in Settings → Workspace → Domains.

Renew before expiry

Expired domains can be lost permanently or picked up by domain squatters. BrandForge sends billing alerts before renewal — make sure notifications are enabled in Settings → Account → Notifications.
