Name & Domain
The Name & Domain module helps you find the perfect brand name and secure your domain — all in one place. The AI generates name ideas, checks domain availability in real time, and lets you register directly without leaving BrandForge.
How It Works
The module uses a two-panel layout:
- Left panel — The Name & Domain AI Copilot
- Right panel — Name suggestions with domain availability
AI Copilot
Describe your brand to the Copilot to get name suggestions tailored to your idea, audience, and industry. You can also use Quick Templates for instant results, or search for a specific domain directly.

Searching a Specific Domain
If you already have a name in mind, click Search specific domain and type it in. BrandForge will check availability across multiple TLDs instantly.
Name Suggestions
After generating, BrandForge returns up to 12 name suggestions sorted by brand fit score (0–100%). Each suggestion includes:

Name Types

Domain Options
Each name shows three domain options with live pricing:
- A star (★) indicates the recommended option (best availability + value)
- Pricing shown per year (e.g.
$12/yr,$55/yr) - Taken domains are shown but cannot be registered through BrandForge
- Available domains show their price and a Register button
Common TLD options include: .com, .co, .io, .studio, .store, .ai
Registering a Domain
- Find the name and domain combination you want
- Click Select this name to choose the name
- Click on your preferred domain option
- Complete domain registration — payment is processed securely
- Your domain is added to Settings → Workspace → Domains automatically
Once registered, you can connect the domain to your website in Managed Hosting.
Regenerating Names
Click Regenerate at the top of the results panel to generate a fresh set of 12 name suggestions. The AI uses a different seed each time, so you'll always get unique options.
The brand fit score is calculated based on:
- Memorability — Is it easy to say, spell, and remember?
- Distinctiveness — Does it stand out in your category?
- Domain quality — How good are the available domain options?
- Strategy alignment — How well does it match your brand archetype and audience?
