Shop Settings
Settings → Shop contains the operational configuration for your eCommerce store — currency, tax settings, shipping zones, email templates, and checkout preferences.
Store Information

| Store name | The display name of your shop (shown in checkout and order emails) |
| Store email | The from-address for order confirmation and shipping emails |
| Store phone | Optional contact number shown on checkout and receipts |
Currency
Select the currency for your store. All product prices, order totals, and payouts will be in this currency.
Once your store has processed its first order, the currency cannot be changed. Set it correctly before going live.
Supported currencies include: EUR, USD, GBP, SEK, NOK, DKK, AUD, CAD, and 130+ others.
Tax Settings

| Tax exemption | Mark specific customers as tax-exempt |
For EU merchants: BrandForge supports EU VAT rules including One Stop Shop (OSS) reporting. Consult your accountant for compliance requirements.
Shipping
Shipping zones
Define geographic zones with specific shipping rates:
- Click Add shipping zone
- Name the zone (e.g. Netherlands, European Union, Rest of World)
- Select countries included in the zone
- Add rates for the zone:

| Free shipping | Free for orders over €75 |
| Calculated | Based on weight × rate per kg |
You can add multiple rates per zone (e.g. Standard + Express).
Free shipping threshold
Set a minimum order value to qualify for free shipping — commonly used as a conversion incentive (e.g. "Free shipping on orders over €50").
Checkout Settings

Order Notifications
Configure automatic email notifications sent to customers:

Customize the email header, footer, and message content by clicking Edit template next to each email type.
Saving Changes
Click Save at the bottom of each section. Changes to tax and shipping take effect immediately on your live store.
