Storefront
The Storefront section controls how your online store looks and is organized — the shop homepage layout, featured collections, navigation, and visual settings.
What the Storefront Controls

| Sort order default | How products are sorted by default (Newest, Price, etc.) |
Shop URL
By default, your store is accessible at /shop (e.g. luminarycoffee.com/shop). You can change this to any path, or set the store as your site homepage (replace / with the store).
To change: go to Storefront → Settings and update the Shop URL field.
Collections
Collections group products together for display — for example, "Single Origin Beans", "Equipment", "Gift Sets".
Creating a collection
- Click New collection
- Enter a collection name and description
- Choose how products are added:
- Manual — Select products individually
- Automatic — Define rules (e.g. all products tagged "new", or priced under €30)
- Upload a collection image (shown as the collection card on the shop homepage)
- Click Save
Featured collections
On the shop homepage, you can feature up to 4 collections as visual cards. Go to Storefront → Homepage and drag collections into the featured positions.
Shop Banner / Hero
The shop homepage can include a promotional hero section — typically used for:
- New collection announcements
- Sale promotions
- Brand storytelling
Configure the banner in Storefront → Homepage → Banner:
- Headline text
- Subheading
- Button label and link
- Background image or color
Storefront Theme
Your store inherits the theme applied in the Website Builder → Themes module. To change your store's visual style, apply a new theme from the Website Builder.
Navigation
Your store navigation (the menu shown on the shop page) is configured separately from your main website navigation:
- Go to Storefront → Navigation
- Add, remove, or reorder menu items
- Link to collections, pages, or external URLs
Cart and Checkout
Cart and checkout pages are managed automatically by BrandForge and styled by your current theme. Checkout is powered by Stripe — ensure Stripe is connected in Settings → Account → Integrations before accepting orders.

Your storefront goes live when your website is published. See Managed Hosting for domain setup and publishing instructions.
