Discounts
The Discounts section lets you create coupon codes and automatic discounts to run promotions, reward loyal customers, and increase conversion.
Discount Types
| Type | How it works |
|---|---|
| Percentage | Takes a % off the order or specific products (e.g. 20% off) |
| Fixed amount | Deducts a fixed value from the order total (e.g. €10 off) |
| Free shipping | Waives shipping costs for qualifying orders |
| Buy X get Y | Adds a free product when a condition is met |
Creating a Discount
Click Create discount and fill in:
Basic settings

Applies to
Control what the discount applies to:
- Entire order — Discount on the full cart total
- Specific products — Select individual products
- Specific collections — All products in a collection
Minimum requirements
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| No minimum | Discount applies to any order |
| Minimum purchase amount | e.g. order must be at least €50 |
| Minimum quantity | e.g. must buy at least 3 items |
Customer eligibility
- All customers — Anyone with the code can use it
- Specific customers — Select from your customer list
- New customers only — First-time buyers only
Usage limits

| Total uses | Maximum number of times the code can be used |
| One use per customer | Each customer can only use the code once |
Active dates
Set start and end dates for time-limited promotions. Leave end date blank for open-ended discounts.
Managing Discounts
The discounts list shows all codes with:
- Code name
- Type and value
- Usage (e.g. 23 / 100 uses)
- Status (Active / Expired / Scheduled)
- Start / end dates
Click any discount to edit it. Active discounts can be deactivated without deleting them.
Automatic Discounts
In addition to coupon codes, you can create automatic discounts that apply without a code — for example, "10% off all orders over €100". These are configured the same way but have no code field.
A common pattern: create a LAUNCH20 code for 20% off, add it to your website hero section and social bio, and set it to expire after 30 days or 100 uses. This creates urgency for early customers.
