Accounts

The Accounts tab is where you connect and manage the social media profiles you want to publish to from BrandForge.

Connecting an Account​

Instagram​

  1. Go to Digital Presence → Social Media → Accounts
  2. Click Connect Instagram
  3. You'll be redirected to Instagram / Facebook login
  4. Log in with the account you want to connect
  5. Grant BrandForge the required permissions:
    • Publish content
    • Access basic account info
  6. You'll be redirected back to BrandForge — your account appears as Connected
Instagram Business or Creator required

Instagram only allows third-party publishing for Business and Creator accounts. Personal accounts cannot be connected. Convert your account in the Instagram app under Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account.

LinkedIn​

  1. Click Connect LinkedIn
  2. You'll be redirected to LinkedIn's OAuth authorization screen
  3. Log in and click Allow to grant BrandForge publishing access
  4. You'll be redirected back — your LinkedIn profile or company page appears as Connected

LinkedIn supports:

  • Personal profiles
  • Company pages (if you are an admin of the page)

Connected Account Details​

Each connected account shows:

Reconnecting an Account​

If BrandForge loses access to an account (e.g. you changed your password, or revoked permissions), the account status shows Reconnect needed. Click Reconnect and go through the authorization flow again.

Disconnecting an Account​

Click the Disconnect button on a connected account to unlink it. Disconnecting does not delete any posts — it only removes BrandForge's ability to publish new content to that account.

Scheduled posts that haven't published yet will fail if the account is disconnected before their scheduled time.

Multiple Accounts​

BrandForge supports connecting multiple accounts per platform (e.g. two Instagram profiles for two brands). Each workspace uses the accounts connected to it — accounts are not shared across workspaces.
