Create Post
The Create Post tab is BrandForge's AI-assisted social media composer. Write posts manually or let the AI generate captions, hashtags, and timing suggestions — all aligned with your brand strategy.
Create Post is marked New in the sidebar — it uses the latest AI generation for brand-consistent social content.
Opening the Composer
Go to Digital Presence → Social Media → Create Post.

Platform selection
Select which platform(s) to post to:
- Instagram — Image-first, visual content
- LinkedIn — Professional, longer-form, text + image
You can create and schedule a post for both platforms simultaneously. Each will use the same base content, optimized for each platform's format.
Caption
Write your caption manually in the text field, or use AI generation (see below).
Platform character limits:
- Instagram: 2,200 characters (recommended: under 300 for best engagement)
- LinkedIn: 3,000 characters
Hashtags
Add hashtags to your post. BrandForge can suggest relevant hashtags based on your post content and brand category — click Suggest hashtags to generate 5–10 options.
Media
Attach an image or video to your post:
- Upload — Upload directly from your device
- Brand Assets — Pick an image from your Brand Assets library
Instagram requires an image. LinkedIn can be text-only or include an image.
Scheduling
Choose when to publish:

| Best time | BrandForge suggests the optimal time based on your audience and platform |
Scheduled posts appear in the Calendar.
AI Caption Generation
Click Generate with AI to create a caption automatically. The AI uses:
- Your brand voice from Brand Strategy
- Your target audience profile
- The image or topic you provide
- The platform format (Instagram vs. LinkedIn)
Optionally, give the AI a brief prompt:
"New product launch — Guatemala Huehuetenango single-origin beans. Limited batch. Convey scarcity and excitement."
The AI returns a full caption with hashtags. Edit it as needed before posting.
Post Preview
A live preview updates as you type or generate. The preview shows how your post will look on each selected platform, including how the caption truncates in the feed view.
Saving as Draft
Click Save draft to save your post without scheduling or publishing. Drafts appear in the Calendar as grey cards and can be edited at any time.
Publishing
Click Publish (for immediate) or Schedule (for future). You'll see a confirmation and the post will appear in the Calendar.
The brands that build audiences fastest post consistently — 3–5 times per week — not necessarily daily. Use the Calendar to plan 2 weeks ahead and batch your content creation.
