Notifications

Settings → Account → Notifications controls how and when BrandForge communicates with you — via email and in-app alerts.

Notification Channels​

Currently, BrandForge sends notifications via:

  • Email — Sent to your account email address
  • In-app — The bell icon (🔔) in the top navigation bar

The notification bell shows a badge count for unread notifications. Click it to see recent alerts.

Email Notification Settings​

Each notification type can be toggled on or off independently.

Email Notifications​

Master toggle — Controls whether BrandForge sends any email to your account. Turning this off overrides all individual settings below.

Deployment Alerts​

Get notified when your website or store deployment status changes.

Triggers:

  • Website published successfully
  • Website publish failed
  • Store went live
  • Domain connected or disconnected

Recommended: On — especially when publishing for the first time or making major site changes.

Team Activity​

Stay informed when team members make changes or join the workspace.

Triggers:

  • A new member accepts their invitation
  • A member is removed from the workspace
  • A member changes an important setting (plan, domain, etc.)

Recommended: On for workspace admins.

Billing Alerts​

Receive reminders for upcoming renewals and payment confirmations.

Triggers:

  • Subscription renewal is 7 days away
  • Payment is processed successfully
  • Payment fails
  • Domain renewal is 30 days away
  • Credit balance is low (below 20 credits)
Keep billing alerts on

Billing alerts help you avoid unexpected service interruptions from failed payments or expired domains. We strongly recommend keeping this enabled.

Marketing Suggestions​

Get AI-powered content ideas and brand strategy recommendations.

Triggers:

  • Weekly brand health tips based on your brand score
  • Content ideas for your social calendar
  • Strategy recommendations when new features launch

This is informational — turning it off does not affect AI generation in the platform itself.

Weekly Digest​

A summary of your brand performance delivered every Monday.

Includes:

  • Website visits for the past 7 days
  • New orders and revenue
  • Social posts published
  • Brand assets added
  • Brand score progress

The Weekly Digest is sent every Monday at 9:00 AM in your workspace timezone.

In-App Notification History​

Click the bell icon (🔔) in the top navigation to view your notification history. Notifications are grouped by date and show:

  • The event type
  • A short description
  • A timestamp
  • A link to the relevant module or action

Notifications are retained for 30 days. Click Mark all as read to clear the badge count.

Saving Preferences​

Toggle settings are saved automatically — no save button required. Changes take effect for the next notification event.
